About
William Hamby III (Billy) founder of B&V Trucking LLC. It all started in 2005, when I decided I needed a change in my life regarding careers. I had an opportunity to leave on a road trip with a friend from High School (Ben Trevino) who owned his own trucking business. On that trip I discovered a love for trucking and traveling. He taught me hands on how to drive, and I learned and adapted quickly. Within the same year I obtained my commercial driver’s license and bought my own truck with a loan my mom (Virginia) gave me from her 401K. She believed in me, this is where the name came from (B&V Trucking LLC). With my faith in God,hard work, and dedication, it all came to light over the years. I drove for 8 years before jumping off to get behind the desk and grow the company.
William could not have grown his organization with out the help of his team and his family. B&V Trucking is an organization that helps the local communities of Brownsville giving back to those in need. B&V gives its employees the opportunity to invest in their own trucks, allowing them to build their own business with in the business. Currently the B&V fleet has 35 trucks and growing rapidly servicing the automotive and medical industry with in the 48 states of the US. B&V is broadening its customer base internationally as demands get higher. B&V does not offer any training for those seeking a new career, but we do take drivers with 2 years or more experience over the road. I’m not the best to give a story or words but there you have it.
